Chris was secretary for the Devon Area Federation of the National Association of Funeral Directors for many years. He was a much-respected member and a valuable contributor to the work of the NAFD.

Thank you always for the support you gave me, I lost my parents but gained a wonderful friend. I will miss you terribly, many laughs and lots of smiles, you always brightened up my day. The jokes, and the important advice will stay with me always, I love you my dear friend and as sad as it is here for us left behind, I'm glad you are reunited with your wonderful wife, your true love.. Mavis. Now you can both rest in peace. Love and light always
